when i bypass it the car seems to run slower my best run of the day was a 14.8@93 on friday night and i adjusted it without jumping the plug and the timing didnt move until later today when i checked it at the track. some one must kno whats going on. i would think its maybe just me but when u look at my slips u could see a difference after the 1/8 mile. someone tell me whats up.
Well, the only thing I can think of is if its something simple like not having the distributor tightened down all the way. Or if you have some kind of after-market timing management that is not functioning properly.

Yeah are you sure you tightened the bolts down correcty?? Also maybe try changing the bolts maybe the threads are stretched somehow
