Question about specific bolt....and how to tell the pitch
I am looking at acuraautomotive online and for this certain bolt it says...
BOLT, FLANGE (12X35)
BOLT, FLANGE (12X50)
how can i determine thread pitch....say....if i were looking in home depot for these bolts? IS 35 and 50 the length? And is it just m12 x 1? Fine thread, or coarse thread?

they are giving the bolt diameter x bolt length.
If you need some big metric bolts like those of good quality I would suggest going to McMaster-Carr or MSC. Both are large industrial supply chains.
In order to check the pitch you need either a thread gage or some calipers.
With a caliper measure from crest to crest. This measurement in millimeters will tell you the pitch.
