question about plug wire placement...read
usually on a dohc vtec engine when looking at the distributor it is

when i put my ls/vtec together a while ago, with the cams in facing up and the mark on the crank facing the mark on the oil pump. after i put the distributor on i noticed that when looking at the distributor it was

that is where the rotor faced when i put the distributor on the engine. i put the plug wires on accordingly without thinking about it and it started right up, timed the motor and had a street tune on it,
i was just curious if this would make a difference as to how the engine runs, i cant really see that it would make a difference since you time the motor using the first spark plug wire so it is timed correctly. just something i was thinking about when i replaced the distributor on a friends car and saw the wire placement difference. this may sound kind of confusing the way i worded it but if i need to clarify anything let me know.

After re-reading your post and realizing that your car runs fine, I'm a bit confused. I just didn't think a car would run right like that.

who cares about your firing order???? I demand MOAR pics of your avatar.......topless!!!
I am also kinda confused what your saying....I can tell you though, if your firing order is off the car will not run smoothly, so you must have it right

the firing order itself is correct, 1342 but the placement of the wires is 180* out, if you look at how the numbers are shown looking at the cap
