Default store'n the crank...

whats the best postion to store the crank when its out of the block? I have searched and heard mix techniques....one is to place it vertical...while others just say place it how it sits in the block. Right now I have it lube and sitting vertical on the ground wrapped in shrinkwrap. Is that good??

it doesn't matter, gravity will not bend your crank

Wow, I did not know that. I figured something that can spin at 8000rpms would be strong enough that it wouldn't.
