Default Question about flucuating Volatages

I have a VAFC so I can see the TPS and MAP volatge in the "Sensor Check" screen. That doesn't matter, but just helps to see voltage.

Now I know the TPS should have a volatage of .45/.5 Volts with the ignition on (Car not started) and the throttle completely closed.

Now if you start the car, and throttle completly closed as well, shouldn't the voltage still read .45/.5 volts?

I'm not sure what your asking. Is there a major difference on yours between started/stopped.

The haynes says that the TPS Voltage should read somewhere between .45-.5 volts with the ignition on and motor NOT running and throttle completly closed.

Mine reads .48 volts with ignition on, and motor NOT running and throttle closed.

My question is, when you start the motor shouldn't the TPS voltage STILL read between .45-.5 volts at completly closed throttle?

While its running, and at closed throttle, it reads anywhwere from .25 - .35 volts. and it flucuates, which is another concern I have. The voltage shouldn't flucuate when holding a constant throttle position(highway driving)
