Icon2 puzzled?

i had my 97 accord lx converted to 5 speed and now my car idles up and down. im still running my auto computer for know til i can find one for a standard.ive tried to to find a vacuum line off but no luck. i may be over looking one but i need help on fixing my problem.

did you unhook any coolant lines? if so you need to bleed the system, and in paticular the idla air control valve (iac). do a search, theres plenty of info on it.

spray carb cleaner when looking for a vacuum leak. the idle will change when youve found it

would using my auto ecu cause it to do that?i will also try to bleed my cooling system.

lots of wierd things can happen when using the wrong ecu however, that is very common problem and you should check the obvious first

When did it start? What RPM's does it bounce between? About how quickly is the RPM bouncing? Does it struggle or miss at any times? Are there any times it idles fine, better or worse?

its done it since the swap was done and it bounces between 1 grand and 2200. it almost acts like a vacuum line but it could also be ecu. if it is i cant find one anywhere.

You can check the MAP sensor voltage. If it's working properly, it'll tell you how much vacuum you're making.
