Autorev? Do you mean when u come to a stop and idle, the revs go up and down? Its either a vacuum leak (cheap to fix). Or a broken sensor (not really that expensive to find another one). Do a search on how to find out which one of those problems it is.

Okay, are you throwing a check engine light? If so you need to pull the code. When does it do this, the entire time you're driving? Or just like when it's warming up? As far as your goes, is there anything done to it as far as modifications or any work recently done on it that may have caused a vacuum line to be unhooked. Best thing would probably be to search for idle surging, idle problems, or just type in idle and see if anybody else has had these problems. With it being a DA, if you can't find anything on here (which I'm sure you'll be able to), try G2IC.com.

thanks for the info guys. no there is no engine light and the only modification i did was put a CAI on my car. however im not sure wen this problem began. im gonna look at my vacuum. however the problem is wen my car is warming up it does this. but wen its warmed up and i stop the car on a redlight or sumthing it revs again. it revs from 1.5k - about 2k. it just keep bouncing up and down and sumtimes it will stop. it does this most of the time im driving.

had the same problem on my 91. It's the IAC valve, located on the back of the intake manifold. There are three ways to fix this:

1. Get a new one. I got one at a junkyard for 20 bucks.
2. The ghetto way: There are two holes in the front of the iac valve that you can see when you take it off, and they are covered with mesh-like wire. What you can do is basically block off those holes with some thin cardboard wrapped in ducttape, or another contraption as long as the holes are blocked off. This will not hurt the car in anyway, but since what the valve's purpose is is to control the idle before the car is warmed up, you will have to warm the car up manually (this can be a problem in the winter). Once it is warmed up it will idle regularly. I had this on my car but once the winter came i just got a new one because i didn't feel like the hassle anymore.
3. The third way is to clean it out. I used carb cleaner on mine but you can get some other engine cleaners and just see if that works and hope for the best. Not a gaurantee but it's worth a shot.

Hope this helped you
