I have a B16A2 with the original transmission on it.
When I bought the car there was a small problem when i was shifting near the redline, it grinded in 3rd og 4. gear, but i changed the oil with a Teflon additive and som Dexron II oil and now it runs clean and smooth.
But: When the car are left over night and I get out in the morning to start up, I simply cant get it into any of the gears, .. then somehow revers seems to be the easiest to get in, but from 1.-5. gear it wont snap in.. Then after 1-2 minutes of yelling in the car it gets in 1st. with a "klonk"-noise.. and after that there is no problem shifting.. sometimes it helps to drive around in reverse like 30 seconds, and then it just snaps in 1st. gear just like it should..
What could be wrong,, ?? Could it be a bad clutch??

get the goo out of your tranny, change it to Honda MTF - run a tank of gas through it and then change it again

Well I started with changing to Honda MTF II but that did not make any difference (3000Km.) so I tried The Additive, and it actually helped...
