Default Problem.. need help!!!

Hey whats going on HT.

So here is the synopsis of the problem. I did a basic distributor car/rotor/plugs/wires replace on my friends 01GSR with OEM honda cap/rotor and ngk plugs and wires. After replacing the parts we started the car, and it bogged to the point where it almost stalled out. So WTF, the gap size is correct, the plugs and wires are for the gsr, the cap and rotor are right. So i took out the plugs to make sure the gap size was correct and cylinder 4-3 plugs were completely BLACK and cyl 2-1 were black but didn't look as tranished as cyl 4-3. I check the gap size and it was correct. The firing order is correct, i even swaped out the cap and rotor with the old ones and it did the same thing. When my friend was cranking the engine for the rotor to move to the position where the screw is visbile he cranked it imo to long, i told him really short cranks. So what now? He had to go to work so he drove off and it sounded like the engine was putting, he called me and said the car couldn't go past 60km/h. Is the ignition timing off? how do i fix this prob?

Thanks in advance any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

Double check your firing order.
