Just swapped my EG with a JDM B16A and GSR tranny. It backed down the driveway, but when I cut the wheel to enter the street, it quit putting power to the ground. The clutch works, and it free revs and sounds like the tranny spins through the gears. I put the AT half-shaft in it because that's all I had. I believe this to be the problem and I've got a MT shaft on its way, but I wonder what you guys think this could be.

Also, I used the passenger side axle from the AT (the B16A came with an auto tranny). It is the same axle as the MT D-series passenger axle, so I assumed the MT B-series passenger axle would be the same as well, no?

 

you sure that the axle just didn't pop out? if its a one wheel wonder and the passenger side axle popped up, it wouldn't move

 

i think one of the axle just popped out.. you might wanna check both side.

 

I'm betting that's what happened now that I've thought about it... it probably would drive fine, and I just didn't have the axle in all the way.

 

got it going.. guess I should have put in my LSD and I wouldn't have noticed tha axle hanging out so much
