You could get the rod repaired but it will be easier to get a new rod.

although i find it very hard to believe that the bolt snapped at 16 lbs, there is not much you can do but replace the rod. IMO anything you do to save the rod will weaken it and will be just asking for trouble. Don't create a weak point in the bottom end of your motor maybe send the rod to ARP for study and try get something out of them

You realize those rods are re-sized for the bolts. So if you remove bolts, the rod will have to be completely re-conditioned so you can use those bolts, if you can get an appropiate bolt. Thus, it would be a lot easier to buy a new rod.

Getting a bolt is no problem. Using the new bolt in a rod that already had arps could be a significant problem.

You have two options
(1) try to repair the current rod
(2) replace the rod

If it were me I would replace the rod. That is the almost full proof method for success. Repairing a rod can be a iffy proposition.

1st thing you should do is contact arp and see what they have to say about replacing the rods and rod bolts.

Also, you should torque check the rod bolts and ask what does arp recommend for the torque value.

Going forward, if ARP will not help you with the rods in any way then yes, I would replace all of them. If this is a GSR/type R then stock rod bolts are fine.
