Default installing rod bolts

when installing rod bolts, does the whol piston and rod assembly have to be taken out?

I mainly asking this to consider those who are doing stock ls/vtec setups and want to just change to ARP rod bolts.

theoretically no, but you do have to take the rods out since they, mostly likely gonna have to be re-honed round again after torquing the arp rod bolts.
