I have a 3rd Gen Prelude, carburettored, 110hp. I was wondering how much power each of the following free mods would give me.
Disabling the EGR.
Coolant bypass mod.
Advancing the timing. I'm thinking 2 degrees, unless someone knows of a better figure.
I'm only interested in doing the timing advancement, since it's the easiest there and would give the most power.
If I could get an approximate horsepower or percentage increase, that would be great.

i thought i liked my ps, but then i took it out and reaqlized i liked my car alot better w/o it, you should take it out for a day and if you dont like it put it back in, its just one belt and takes maybe 10 minutes to remove

AMEN brother. On a 3rd gen 'lude you should probably be able to put the car on about a 400 pound diet before it starts getting dangerous.

Do not disable the EGR system, it actually improves your power output and reduces emissions.
I would go for weight reduction, it is free and usually reversible.
