Default Re: postive ignition coil

The ign. coil is in the distributor, the black/yellow going to the distributor is the ign. input.

Does the cluster "light up" when you turn on the ign.?

Can you hear the fuel pump turn on for a few sec. when you first turn on the ign. switch to run, [not start]?

Does the CEL turn on for a few sec. and then turn off when you first turn on the ign. switch to run?

If the answer is yes to the above, then the ign. output from ign. switch is working.

Do you have a multimeter or test light? 94
