Check grounds. I had a friend who changed his rad, switch and thermo and the car was still hot and it ended up being a loose ground

Make sure you have the right radiator cap and that its on tight. Check your top radiator hose AND your bottom hose are equally hot after you've been driving. Check and make sure your cooling fan is coming on.

How old is the thermostat? When was the last time you flushed the radiator?

Running temp should be at 160, if I'm not mistaken. I would definately change the thermostat.

Dont the thermostat open on a CRX at 180? So if thats the case, you give or take 5 degrees, and I think normal operating temp is 220-230.. I may be wrong, and I will check in a minute, but. What does your cluster temp gauge show? Normal operating temp?
