Default possible bent valve?

so i started a post of my own for this...so after reading for about an hour...i have some questions. say i just need an adjustment...will i have SOME of the symptoms of a bent valve? i mean my car idles fine...sometimes it dips low but never stalls out. sometimes its loud(ticking) but not all the time. i learned how to check compression and it sounds easy enough to do so i am gonna try and get it done this week. what does an adjustment run from a dealership? IF it turns out to be a bent valve is it good to go to a dealership...or search for a reliable shop?

here is the other post i jacked...sorry sometimes i get carried away

after reading the post...it could be bent valves or if your lucky your lma's.Do a comp. test, but the best way to find out is to do a leakdown test, that will pinpoint if its the valves.

thanks man...working on the compression/leakdown sometime this week. just SAY its the lma's...should i go with the itr pieces like everyone else says...or go with the stock b16 pieces? whats the average cost to get valves replaced and should i go for all of them at the same time or just the one(s) that are bent?

one more thing...i saw nothing about bent valves being visible with the head still on...can you see them without pulling it?

thanks but i think i will play it safe and stay stock...maybe go with the itr but i doubt it. can i have a bent valve without throwing any codes? i am worried i am over analyzing the sound and activity of my engine. i have no secondary o2 and my car has idled funny for a while now...but i haven't checked compression since i got the motor so i want to get it anyway...just in case.
