Default positive crankcase pressure problem?

my car burns oil in the upper rpms such as if i gun it or i hit the revlimiter which it then its like a smoke stack. It does not burn oil on startup and the compression is 170 across the board its a B18a BTW. I think the valve seals are fine since it would smoke on startup but it doesnt and the rings since i have good compression unless i fried just the oil scraper rings??? anyway iv been thinking and what about if i have to much crankcase pressure, that would cause oil to push past the seals and be burned, my car will sometimes idle from 750-1100 like the pcv valve is sticking so im gonna replace that but im thinking about getting the modified moroso venting system somepeople use and tap into the front of the valve cover. I need opinions here guys, help me out, Thanks

Before getting that system, first verify that your factory system is working OK.

Clear out the breather tube that goes to the intake (upstream of throttle). Make sure it's not full of oily crud.

Check the PCV valve, make sure the little shaker is loose. Hoses plugged? Grommets at crankcase or valve cover hard, brittle, cracked? New PCV valve is probably only a couple bucks, maybe just get a new one?

But it's so easy to clean out the PCV hoses & install a new PCV valve, you ought to do that first. Rule out the cheap & easy stuff first.

more than likely it gonna be the oil rings and im gonna have to pull the motor but i guess i get to get new goodies while its out . Ill change the valve and clean the hoses. Upper hose to intake should be good since my AEM intake isnt even a year old

ok I went to change my pcv valve and i broke it but i got it out. The hose it connects to runs to a vapor canistor on the back of the block. The hose is FULL of crud i.e carbon and oil. im gonna pull the box and the hose and clean them. Im pretty sure the valve was my problem on idling anyway. Anyone know where i can get the breather system some people use for extra crankcase ventaliation?
