Default Porting Questions

okay.. I need some advice.

this is what I think, someone please correct me if I am wrong.

when having a head ported CFM is not the only thing that matters.

Angles matter right?

and so does the (don't know how to say it) pitch (as in tune, like tuned ports in a speaker enclosure)?

Can a badly ported head cause the car to run like **** on the low RPM and really good on the high?

Can a badly ported head cause the car to not go past a certain speed? (currently 120) (no it is not the ECU or fuel)?

Can a badly ported head (or overported head) cause a car not to run properly at idle and just die for no reason once it has started to idle?

TIA

yes angles matter.

a badly ported head could cause you to lose power all the way through the rpm range. you want to ideally speed up velocity not slow it down by opening up the ports to big.

a badly ported head wont' hurt your top speed.

it will idle fine just won't run as good as you want it .
