poor mans type r tuning
hey i have 91 si still obd0. i swapped in a poor mans type r,
gsr block
.5 over type r pistons
gsr rods and crank, arp rod bolts and bearings
b16 head
type r cams.
oem headgasket,
obd0 b16 ecu
so i was wondering about the tuning. im picking up a vafc II for cheap this weekend but i was wondering if the car will be driveable and not hurt the motor, without a tune. i think its gunna be like 11.4:1 compression. i dont want my car detonating or cracking a sleeve because of the compression and no tune. so any input is appreciated, also if u have any tips on tuning with vafc II because i plan on doing a little bit myself just doing a street tune until i build the head and convert to obd1 this summer
