Default Poor Man Type R?

I'm New to the scene. I have a JDM B18C (GSR) and i have my cousins old B16 Head. Exactly what do i need to do to mate the head to this block? Anyone have a write-up on this?

just bolt it on. However, you're compression will lower by about .2, counteracting this you could use some flat bottomed valves, or most people will swap out the gsr pistons for one of four choices. Itr, ctr, p30 (jdm b16), or pr3 (usdm b16). I used the p30's for their the highest compression under the ctrs, followed by the itr, and b16, but they are lighter by far than the ctr and itr. I personally dont like the ctr because of the steep dome which will interupt airflow and possibly causing detonation at high rpm. I would reccomend the p30's as thats what i used, but i'm sure there are people that would disagree with me.

otherwise:
use gsr headstuds (11mm)
b series headgasket

you should be able to figure everything else out, if not, feel free to ask.

CTR's with ITR cams. Thats a mean combo. Thats what I had on my LS/V before I went turbo.
