I've read a topic about this before but can't find the thread. I just want to know what kinda gains should I expect to get. I have a pair or B18B1 cams layin around. Is there something else I must do in order to get more hp gains from those cams? Also, I'm not sure if these cams are reusable, or if I can get them refinished (don't know what term to use), so I'll be putting pictures up of the cams later on. Thanks for any info.

 

Here are the cams.....tell me if they are repairable.....

 

B18B cams are only a few degrees more aggresive, and I beleive the 92-93 B18A intake cam may even be more aggressive than the B18B counterpart.

Bottom line - dont put them in and expect anything. If you want power from cams, get a good set of crowers and be prepared for a shitty idle.
