Default PLUG GAPS

I just tried opening my plug gaps to .065". The car ran great on the low end, but when I floored it, it cut out real bad. It was also harder to start.

Does running the plug gap too wide confuse the computer???

Yes-its cutting out, BUT when I set my plugs back to the oem gap, it runs ok again.
