PLEASE help w/ front end problem on 95 hatch!!
Setup:
95 civic hatch
95 JDM GSR B18c
00 Integra Type R Tranny (LSD)
I developed this problem today driving home from work. There is something seriousley(sp?) wrong with something in the front, drivers hand side of the car. Under acceleration, either fast of slow, in any gear, the car is intermittidley pulling to the left every 1/4 of a second or so (left-left-left-left). And every couple of minutes it VERY quickley RIPS the steering wheel out of my hand to the left (left-left-left-left-LEFTRIP!). I jacked up the car and took off the wheels, and nothing seems to be loose. Both axles turn back and fourth a little, which i think is normal. I started the car on the jack stands and went through the gears. 1 through 4 there was a little noise in the tranny, and in 5th there was a loud noise like marbles in the tranny. But I do not know if the car being in the air had anything to do with that. (could have been the weight of the wheels, axles ect, in the air) So that is where I am. It is pretty much un-drivable. What do you think it might be. Let me know if there is any more info you need to know. PLEASE help. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

the hatch has a problem with a plastic bushing in the stearing rack, tryto move the to control arms of the stearing rack if you feel a play while trying to move them verticaly( up and down) that might be your problem, do not know anything about that tranny noise tho
So do you think the noise I hear in the tranny has anything to do w/ the pull in the steering? I'm gonna jack it up tommorow and try to find a problem, so any info would be helpfull.
I drove the car tonight.
Under light or heavy acceleration the steering wheel shakes left. When you let off the gas the klunking goes away. Then every once in a while the sterring wheel firmly turns left and the car swerves. But that's only ever once in a while.
We're thinking;
* Wheel Baring
* Bad CV Joint
* Bad LSD, but that doesn't sound correct.
* Bad Transmission, but that doesn't seem correct.

my opinion would be bad diff from your description, but check upper ball joints and upper control arm bushings.. good luck tom

to clarify, in case it matters: no probs while decelerating. "Then every once in a while the sterring wheel firmly turns left and the car swerves. But that's only ever once in a while." <--- this is while accelerating ONLY.

Damn, caught me. I wasn't gonna tell you, but I decided not to go for the 910. Gonna try and keep it down around the 900 range.

it's good to be reasonable.. just think of all the mods you'll have to do to handle the 910!!!!
