hey i was wondering if any one has had the same problem as me, or if it is even a problem to worry about.....

I have a 95 manual tranny civic, and if i go from any gear or neutral for that matter straight to reverse, my car makes a semi-loud "thud" noise, but if i go to 5th and then to reverse you cant hear anything.....

should i be worried about that or not??

is it a little grind when you put it into reverse?

my tranny used to do that. I just put it into 1st then put it into reverse and it doesn't do it anymore.

its kind of a little grind...yeah...its just sounds louder than a normal grind, like when you miss a shift, i was just a little worried, and wanted to double check that nothing was wrong with my tranny....

its normal. Reverse does not have syncros.
