Sup all
I just put a D16 motor in my DX hatch. Problem is it wont go past 4500 rpm on all gears. Si's are supposed to redline around 7000 rpm. I get codes 7 and 10 which are the intake air temp and the throttle position sensor. Could it be that i have to replace both gaskets? Could that make the car run shiety?! Please help!

so you think it is the intake manifold gasket and tb gasket too?
in replacing this you think my car will be able to accelarate properly?

How does the car idle? If it idles alright, I wouldn't worry about the gaskets. I would check your TPS voltage at closed throttle and WOT. Is your intake air temp sensor hooked up?

Pick up a manual for your engine at Pep Boys or something for 25 dollars.
It will tell you all you need to know on how to trouble shoot the problems.
My guess, your going to have to replace the TPS.
