Please help get my Honda snowblower started!
Ok I know this isn't a car but I figure most know small engines too, my Honda snow blower wont start I've confirmed spark pretty sure on fuel(not 100%). It's a regular "chock to start" it ran fine 2 weeks ago new gas etc I got a new OEM plug for it charged the batt (but it doesn't need the battery to start). it has compression and this is just a 2 year old machine, when I took the air filter cover off every time I pull the start cord it just puffs out a fine mist from the carb(I think that's below the filter) which I assume is atomized fuel/air. As for electrical its very basic most is for the auto start/auto chute direction. nothing is frozen on it that I can tell the choke moves and the gas is full
I use this thing daily... snow has started to fall again I need it.

Most likely the carb needs to be cleaned. You can try dumping a teaspoon of gas down the plug hole, put the plug back in and see if it starts for a few seconds, if so fuel isn't getting passed the carb into the engine, or the fuel is really old/full of water.
ok thanks that idea popped up a few times when reading I'll give that a try.
I got the carb off I tired putting some fuel down the plug hole wasn't able to get it going but I had the car off when I tired that so probs invalid test. I did manage to get a few good bangs out of it and almost set my blower on fire as the gas spilled when I took the car off. I tired turning it over several times before taking the car off there was NO gas smell on the plug spark is there but I'm not getting any fuel into the combustion chamber.
Here's the carb what do I clean on it and where is the "float bowl"

That screw thing at the bottom is a fuel drain I turned it and fuel came out along with when I took the little cover off the top of the smaller bowl thing.

The the mail fuel bowl and smaller sediment bowl off, clean any dirt out of the carb, blow compressed air through all passages and clean out tiny passages with tag wire or small torch tip cleaners depending on just how small the passages are. Drain the gas tank completely and rag it out. Put everything back together and add fresh gas.
The float bowl is the larger brass colored bowl you see, the one with the drain coming out at a 45° angle. Remove the 10mm bolt at the bottom to remove it.

took it to the local Honda power-sports dealer and bought another one

well apparently the engine was full of water... I have no idea how that happened and something about a push rod not working, just had a quick talk on the phone.
Some gravity fill systems can be prone to filling the cylinders with fuel. Many of these cheaper carburetors are prone to needle leaks which can introduce fuel into the engine if they leak, or if the fuel shutoff is not used or in itself leaks. This normally presents as a stalled starter or a snapped pull cable.
My step dad a long time ago yelled at me for starting his snowblower in the summer..... It started every winter I did that until the carb bowl froze solid after missing a year.... Go figure, right?
