? on piston size & cylinderbore
1.when they say piston/ or bore, 20 or 50 over and so on, i know it means bigger, but what does that equate to in millimeters?
for example, dont qoute me, not to sure, but i thought 20 over = .5mm
i ask because:
i purchased a gsrb18c block - it was already bored and honed (50 over) when i got it, so ill be needing some pistons for it, just not to sure & i need to determine the piston size to get.
any assistance/post are welcome
thanx

My guess if they say it is bored 50 over they are talking about hundredths of a millimeters, as in .50mm... All you gotta do is use a caliper on it to measure the bore.. If i'm right then just slap some 81.50mm slugs in there...
Peace

10 over = .0100" overbore = .25mm overbore
If it's in empirical, then 50 over = 2.25mm overbore.
Total bore size = 82.25mm
Edit: Ooops.....81mm + 2.25mm = 83.25mm, not 82.25mm.
