Default help with piston ring size

got block honed at domestic shop. they didn't know what the bore was other than the stock listed at 75mm. they said I should use stock rings and that if it was off it would only be maybe a few thousandths, which is a lot with honda engines. can I determine what piston ring size I should order based on piston to wall clearance, or stock piston ring gap size? I have feeler gages but no bore gage. any thoughts or will stock size be alright? thanks
