The ring-lands on new pistons, esp. forged are suppose to be stronger and thinker. Should the rings be the same size as oem pistons? Or do aftermarket pistons want you to use their brand rings b/c they are larger (in diameter)? Bascially, i'm trying to say, can a STD bore set of rings work on aftermarket pistons, or do you have to buy different size (thickness) rings. Thanks.
