Default post header install questions

i just installed a jdm 4-1 header and while i was at it, i changed the exhaust manifold gasket. after the starting my car, there was smoke from header, and after driving it around, the smoke vanished. is this the result of the new gasket breaking itself in? and yes, i checked and double checked to see if the bolts were tightened. we torqued them down to 23 lbs.

also, there's a weird smell coming into my car now. is it from the carsound cat i put on as well? the cat is new by the way.

thanks in advance

alright cool. so nothing to worry about?

how about the smell that's floating around my car? is it the break in process of the cat?

one thing i forgot to ask was, is it normal to still see the donut gasket in between the cat and the header?
