Default piston oil ring thickness

ok so im rebuilding my motor and i ordered some new JE piston rings for my 84mm 9.0:1 JE pistons. i noticed that the new oil ring (3rd one) is thinner than my original one. is this ok or was i supposed to order a certain thickness? my old ones fit snuggly into the groove in the piston but the new ones are kinda loose.
