not sure if that is too large.

THE REAL ISSUE IS that I cant get these oil rings compressed enough to use the ring compressor tool and pop into cylinder.
top of cylinder is still oem.

cheapy OEM brand tool was old so I tossed it. was ovaled out.
wavey oil drain ring is not overlapped but butted together.
they are spaced correctly. but all 3 rings in that grove seem to fit too tight
*the 2 thin oil scraper rings and wavey drain ring*

I doubt rings are out of spec. could piston oil ring grove be to shallow or tight? anyway to fix this or is there a magic to fitting oil rings?

I noticed that I had to put on the drain ring first then the top and bottom ring or it binded up.
snip a tad bit off the drain ring?
