Default Piston Change, Would like some input

I sometimes tend to get ahead of my self when im faced with problems with my car. Well its been smoking between the head and the block and ive been told it may be that the rings are bad so I began to do some research and checked out Ebay. I found a set of Nippon Performance Racing Pistons, along with rings and a complete gasket set for $300 which IMO is one hell of a deal. I was wondering if anyone had personal experiences with these pistons and how well they perform. It is said to raise my stock compression of my B16a to a 10.95:1 and seeing as how my head is milled a bit it may be in the 11's which my Skunk2 Stage2's would love . I was also considering purchasing a spoon sports 2 piece head gasket for NA motors to bump that bad boy up a bit more. Now aside from all that talk would I still be good on the OEM B16 rods? The car is going to be a daily driver so I dont want to over do it but I want something that can get up and go too. Open to all input

Heres the site

I don't know who told you the rings were bad, but if its leaking/smoking from between the head and block its the head gasket, not your rings. Regardless, i would shitcan the stock rods and get something a little more stout, like Eagle or Crowers, or Pauter rods. i really wouldn't trust stock rods at that compression.

11:1 is nothing for stock rods. they can take 350whp easily. and they work with oem style cast pistons.
