thats what I had in my y7, and it held enough power to last longer than the sleeves

Whatever you do, DON'T, I repeat, DON'T get a block guard....that is what caused the failure of my 400whp single cam.

The only other thing that I could think of that you will need to build your shortblock would be a new set of OEM rod bearings, head gasket and a set of ARP head studs

If you're going to put new rods in the motor, you need to replace the bearings as well. ARP head studs are a MUST on single cams, as they like to lift the head. Single cams have head gasket issues out the ***, so do anything you can do to prevent future issues.

The SRP/Eagle combo is more than enough for a single cam

Wait a sec drtysohc, you dont think running 27psi on stock sleeves was the cause of failure? Just messin with ya. Hey, thanks for the 2.5 map, I needed one bad. And if you still have that wideband, I sure could use it. Hit me up on kcsr.

Don't forget your ARP rods bolts either. Very important.
