Phantom Grip LSD?
I'm considering a phantom grip lsd for my d16z6 running 11psi.. Traction is a pretty serious problem right now. I know you can pick up the PG units on ebay for around 220 or so... sounds like the price is right to me. Anyone have experience or know anything about them? Its a clutch type system... how often will i have to pull the little bastard out and rebuild it?
Forgot to ask... how would it compare to a quaif unit, a kaaz unit or a stock unit? I know the gear type have very different characteristics than clutch type... but any additional info would be GREAT ! thanks in advance
What kind of maintainence is required?? lifetime warenty on the unit and what not. doesn't sound like it'll wear out. Has anyone ever used one?

I have one and am happy with it on my boosted z6. It took about 500 miles for it to seat in and start working though. BTW, it's doesn't have any clutches, it's basically two spring loaded plates.

I personally would invest in the Quaife. The Kaaz units need to be rebuilt periodically and are thus dubbed as "high maintenance." And I've heard mixed reviews about the functionality (is that a word) of the Phantom Grip units during hard cornering. I would go with something proven, like a Quaife.

you are INCORRECT
Quaife is a helical gear type lsd identical to what a ITR lsd is besides it has a tad thicker internals so it can hold higher amounts of hp
