Default Permacool Sandwhich adaptor

Hi anyone know with the permacool 186 if you can still use the standard oil filter.
Its a 20x.15 thread.

also, for my 99 gsr.. is 186 the model needed?

That is the correct part number and thread size/pitch, but the thread adapter really doesn't work too well. It's too long so that it never compresses the o-ring to seal off the plate. You would have to machine or chop the thread adatper to make it work.

I should know, I've got a useless one sitting in the box in the garage. Anybody wanna give it a shot?
