Default Performance Clutch with master cylinder issues

I have a ACT performance clutch and pressure plate with a XACT Prolite flywheel. I installed them 11,000 miles ago and I just had my master cylinder go out on me. The dealership told me that it was because of the pressure plate was to stiff and cause my master cylinder seal to break. I need some help I never heard of this and would like to know if any one else had this issue or it was a faulty part to begin with. The car is a 2007 Honda Civic Si and the car only has 21,000 miles on it.

very possible. the stock master cyl. isnt designed to deal with the extra pressure of an aftermarket clutch, depending of course on what kind of clutch and how heavy that pressure plate is.

It sounds like bullshit to me. Performance aftermarket clutches demand a lot more pressure, so I can understand that they would deny you a warranty claim, but the fact of the matter is that at 21k miles, you should not be replacing your clutch M/C even with an aftermarket clutch. My civic's clutch m/c has 160k miles on it, most of which are hard miles and 10k+ of which are boosted miles with an ACT XTSS.
