I have been using PEAK™ Performance motor oil for about 5 month now since I got my swap. I havent found too much info on it. So far I used it twice 1st time when I put my b20 then 2500 later changed the oil and put PEAK again. I removed the valve cover the other day and everything was much cleaner from I 1st got the engine running. Is it good oil? I wanna know what you guys thinks. I really don't abuse my car more just DD and alot of highway driving.

 

Not any different than any other generic shelf oil. Meets API SN and GF-5 specifications. Nothing special.

Well API standards are garbage, but ILSAC is an improvement. Its geared towards the American and Asian product line specifically.(Not a specific engine, which is ideal,but rather a broad coverage of American and Asian engines) GF-5 is a decent standard.

 

Well its seems to be doing a good job so far cleaned up the inside, runs smooth, and for performance lets the motor rev effortlessly

 

Didn't notice on the back of the bottle that it says exceeds GF-5 standard and ILSAC. Then its good.
