Default Does oil expire?

alright guys i have a quart of oil in my closet and i did a oilchange yesterday and i might need to ad just a tad more.

so my question is if i have a bottle of oil that has been sitting in my closet for a 1/2 a year maybe same kind that i put in my motor when i did the oil change, would it be safe to ad that bottle to my car?

yah its safe. its only when its been used in an engine, that it'l break down with time.

I agree. It will be fine. The only time I would be weary is if its been somewhere thats not climate controlled where it could possibly pickup moisture but if its been in your closet I don't see that being an issue.

yes, and that will sometimes cause it to turn back into dinosaurs.

LOL! I heard after it picks up moisture that Castrol GTX turns back into a T-Rex...and Mobil-1 into a Veloca Raptor.
