Default Part number

Does anyone have the part number for a Speedometer gear on a 2000 GSR? The dealer says they can not be purchased seperatly but other people say it can.

If anyone has any info on the gear please share. I don't want to screw around with swapping the gear if I can avoid it.

Try calling http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com they should be able to help you. Their # is 800-341-4113. Also look at their website and see if it's available.

It's not available seperately. I have friends at the dealer and I tried. It's not.

It's not that hard swapping the gear. A little heat from a torch is all it took. But if you wanna be sure, make sure the diff is cool.
