Default How Do I Interpret Gear Ratios?

Hey,

How do I make sense of the gear ratios on this site? http://allmotorhonda.com/techp...s.htm Explain to me how the numbers affect acceleration and the length of each gear please.

Thanks

K George, in a nutshell.

The higher the number for each gears, the shorter it is. Meaning better acceleration. Of course you don't want them all to be the same number or real close or else you won't get to higher speeds. The larger the final drive number is, the quicker it revs.
