painting block for easy CLEANING
Well i'm really a perfectionist about keeping my investments in top noch condition.
This is NOT a question about making a "BLINK-Bling" block,..... it's about what can I do paint over the block so that i can CLEAN it with ease.
i was thinking about some sort of spray paint/coat that will still be look sliver but will make it much easyer for me to wipe off dirt & greases.
any options let me know

you could have it sand blasted and powder coated, but that only makes sense if it's already torn down to just the block.

Dupli-Color "cast coat gray" engine enamal is the closest paint color I have found that looks like a clean cast AL block.

-also how will sandblasting it help? i know it will clean it but will it make the surface smoother or somthing?
**powerdercoating a block is out of the question.
what about sanding/polishing the block? Smooter surface should be easier to clean off...of course then you'd have to do it really well or it'll look like ish

You should use an Engine Enamal paint....any old regular spray paint would be a waste of your time. Remeber it will be exposed to heat and solvents during its life in your engine bay. Good luck
