Default p72 uberdata have a quick question

I socketed my P72 as i have done with many other ECU's. I have never undone these changes before. Cant i just clip the J1 jumper and return the ECU back to stock without removing the rest of the stuff??

Thanks in advance.

Yes, removing j1 would return the ecu to stock form unless the ecu came with a 28 pin rom installed from the factory (rare but I do see them).
