just wondering if you are able to still wire a knock sensor into the p28 ecu?

Don't think so, not completely sure though. I know that when I wrote a d16y8 map for a p28, I had to disable it.

A p28 ecu does not have a knock board.
The honda knock sensor is useless in most cases

yep, P72 or P30 should work. But takes more than just soldering in the board.

like adding the wire in the wiring clip and what else. sorry so many questions. the reason i don't want to change ecu's is because i already have mine socketed for hondata s300.

I would not even worry about using a knock board. Just get a knowledgable tuner behind it and you will be just fine.

You just need to use a program from a knock enabled ecu, like a P30.
