i have a friends p28 ecu in my car since mine isnt working properly.

my motor is a jdm b16. the vtec is currently not working.
i got the car back from the shop today and i have 4 error codes.
they are :
3 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor
10 IAT - intake air temperature sensor
14 IAC (EACV) - idle air control valve
41 Primary oxygen sensor heater

as far as the map sensor im stumbled
the iat has a diffrent connecter so i will try to splice that.
the iac had a wire pulled out of the connector i will redo that
and the oxygen sensor was disconnected i took care of that.

will any of the above not make my vtec not work.

Try putting your ECU or another vtec ecu into your car to see if VTEC will work. If that doesn't solve the problem, then it's either the wiring or the MAP sensor.

But, yes, MAP sensor will throw your car into limp mode, thus VTEC not functioning.

with limp mode on, will it still rev to the maxium. because the computer is allowing me to rev to about 7,400 rpm.
