Vtec / Map Sensor / Tp sensor Problem that has everyone stumped.
I have a 1992 Prelude with a 95 Accord Ex motor, the f22b1. I did an automatic to manual swap, and had to use the Non vtec harness from the motor that was origionally in my car, the f22a1. The codes that I am throwing is Tp, Map, and Vtec. I am using the 5 speed vtec ecu, and ive tried to pin vtec directly into the ecu harness. Im not understanding why my car is in limp mode, and I cannot get this to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I must fix these prior to selling my car. Thanks, Jered.

yeah you gotta run some wires, and change some plugs around the fuse box area so you can connect everything, also you need to make sure your getting power to your coil / distributor because your going from an external coil on the f22a1 to an internal coil on your f22b1. hence the 4 plug wires not five on the f22b1. also you need to change your ecu, and make sure that your fuel pump is engaging. if you have any more questions feel free to text anytime, 219-851-5255
What wires specifically will i have to change? I have a 95 prelude S 5 speed that came stock with the f22a1. I now have the f22b1 with ecu and harness. It runs with the f22a harness minus the vtec and i hate the fact that the harness was chopped up for it to even work. Would ou mind being very detailed in your description seeing as ive never done this before.

whats up man
. I downloaded the helms manuals for the accord and prelude so I'm gonna go thru the schematics and try to wire up a custom harness to get it to run properly. If It works I will be sure to let you know.

thanks man text me if it works, i thought about doing the same but with an h22 head its just going to be a lot of work that i dont have time for. and
Have you verified continuity through the harness for the TP and MAP sensors? Are you 200% positive they are wired correctly to the ECU? Also, I'm assuming you used the TP and MAP from the b1, not a1, correct? Have you verified proper grounds? What might help more is for you to post exactly which wires you had to splice and re-route from the a1 to the b1 ecu so we have an idea what you did. Do you have the manuals and wiring diagrams for both vehicles?
