p28 ecu troubles

Default p28 ecu troubles

i put a 95 si motor in my dx hatch. i wired the vtec to run with the vtec ecu. i plugged the ecu into my dx wire harness and the car wont produce spark. if i plug the stock dx ecu in it fires right up. whats the deal? the harneses are compatible

95 si vtec distrib, the only one that fits. non vtec bolt holes do not line up to a vtec head.

Maybe it's a P28 auto, and wont' turn over because it doesn't see the auto tranny lockup solenoid...
