Default P28 ecu Idle.

Whats up Honda-tech.

Currently in my car i have a b16b. (Intake header cat exhaust) I purchased a p28 ecu with a pretty decent basemap. It runs great, however i'm having a lot of problems with idle going fluctuating between 1000 - 1400 rpm when the engine gets hot. This only happens when the p28 is in, when i switch back to the PCT ecu it is perfectly fine. I have tried 2 different ecu's and 3 different programs from the provider, yet still having the same problem.

Any suggestions.?

Thanks in advance.

Basemapped on what? CROME? If so seems to be an issue with that platform and/or the person making the maps..

If your pct ecu runs fine then you answer your own question, go get your car dyno tune.

I thought it could have been the map programming as well, but put it into a friend hatch with the same engine and he didn't have the problem at all. I assumed if it was something with my engine that the problem would remain once the PCT ecu was put back but was not the case.
