to ovesize or not to oversize(pistons)???
If your cylinder walls are in good shape, you can just lightly go over them with a bottle brush or cylinder hone, and use standard size pistons...but if you have deep scratches in the walls, you will need to get them bored and use oversized pistons...
If you get the ctr's, then I would get the overbore. Unless your car has lots of miles 100K+, then I have read that the walls would be ok...but I would get the overbore just to be safe..what if the ******* at the machine shop gets too happy shaving the walls..id just tell him to overbore .25 and get it over with...no blowbye..But if you get the spoon jdm r's then they dont make them in oversize..I plan on getting the .25 overbore ctr's in my b16a..
good luck
