Overheating on turbo d16
car will not blow up, you could possibly warp the head or block but only blows if running lean when head gasket blew, but for another idea the thermostat could be bad.

I know that car won't blow up, I was trying to get more information out of him.
Any of the ideas these guys mentioned could be it. Have you checked your thermostat? Is there coolant in the oil (milky)? How does the coolant overflow tank look? Low?

Okay....and? What would you like to know? Overheating can be caused by a number of things. Things that can be determined if you give more details.
Are you losing coolant? Are you losing oil? Are there any leaks anywhere in the engine bay? Are you losing power?
